The festival adopts “A Journey Through Time” as its theme. From “The Birth of the Earth,” depicting the origin of the universe, to the “Age of Dinosaurs” and “Prehistoric Marine Life” zones showcasing ancient creatures, and finally to the “Age of Mammals” recreating different stages of civilization, the lantern displays trace the course of life’s evolution from a macro perspective. By integrating traditional Chinese cultural symbols, it creates a fusion of Eastern and Western cultures, offering visitors a time-transcending journey.
