On 15 November 2025, Twycross Zoo in the West Midlands unveiled something never seen before in the global attractions industry: the world\u2019s first officially licensed Gruffalo lantern installation, created as part of the new winter trail Lanterns of the Wild.<\/p>\n
Running on select evenings until 22 February 2026, the event transforms the zoo with more than 2,000 handcrafted lanterns, illuminating wildlife, habitats and stories from around the world.<\/p>\n
